Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) targeting return vs. NYK
Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 4:59 AM
Sam Amick
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is targeting a return against the Knicks on Friday.
Analysis: Gordon has been sidelined since Jan. 23 with a strained right hamstring, and while he'll remain out for Thursday's game against the Lakers, he could return against New York in Denver's final game of the week. Julian Strawther has had some success as a starter in place of AG, but he'll likely return to a reserve role when Gordon returns, eliminating his streaming upside.
Jonas Valanciunas
Jonas Valan?i?nas scores 13 points in spot start
Mon, Mar 2, 2026, 5:51 PM
Jonas Valan?i?nas tallied 13 points (4-of-6 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and one steal in Monday's win over the Jazz.
Analysis: With no Cameron Johnson (ankle), the Nuggets decided to slide Valan?i?nas into the starting lineup. And Monday's game was the first in which Valan?i?nas started alongside Nikola Joki?. The veteran center was solid in his 17 minutes, with Bruce Brown (4/3/4/1) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (7/6/1 with one three-pointer) each playing 30 minutes off the bench. Even if Johnson isn't available for Thursday's game against the Lakers and Valan?i?nas gets another start, JV's unlikely to get the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball with a healthy Joki? in the lineup.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? records 22/12/5 line, two blocks
Mon, Mar 2, 2026, 5:50 PM
Nikola Joki? recorded 22 points (6-of-11 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists and two blocks in Monday's win over the Jazz.
Analysis: Fantasy managers hoping for an explosive performance from Joki? in his first game of Week 19 were left disappointed, even with the three-time MVP recording a solid line. Utah used smaller players to defend The Joker for most of the night, and that appeared to give him some trouble. Joki? did record another double-double, but fantasy managers were likely expecting more with the Jazz headed for the draft lottery.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray drops game-high 45 points vs. Utah
Mon, Mar 2, 2026, 5:50 PM
Jamal Murray accounted for 45 points (13-of-19 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs), two rebounds, eight assists, two steals and eight three-pointers in Monday's win over the Jazz.
Analysis: While Murray was responsible for seven turnovers on Monday, the Nuggets' guard was highly accurate when shooting the basketball. The 45 points were the most in a game for Murray since December 3, when he dropped a season-high 52 on the Pacers. He's scored at least 40 points in four games this season, double his tally during the 2024-25 campaign. The Nuggets play two more games in Week 19, starting with the Lakers on Thursday.
Jonas Valanciunas
DEN starts Murray, Strawther, Braun, JV, Joki?
Mon, Mar 2, 2026, 2:39 PM
NBA Lineups
Jamal Murray, Julian Strawther, Christian Braun, Jonas Valan?i?nas and Nikola Joki? will start Monday's game against the Jazz.
Analysis: The Nuggets won't have Cameron Johnson (ankle) for Monday's game, which frees up a spot in the starting lineup. They've decided to go big, with Valan?i?nas joining the starters. Since Murray and Joki? are also available, JV offers limited fantasy upside.
Tyus Jones
Shams: Nuggets, Tyus Jones agree to deal
Mon, Mar 2, 2026, 11:34 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that the Nuggets have signed Tyus Jones.
Analysis: Jones, who was traded twice ahead of February's deadline, was waived by the Mavericks on Saturday. Since he was waived ahead of the March 1 deadline, the veteran point guard will be eligible for the postseason. While he gives the Nuggets another ballhandler, Jones' addition to the roster does not affect most fantasy leagues.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson, Spencer Jones out Monday vs. UTA
Mon, Mar 2, 2026, 9:53 AM
NBA Injury Report
Cameron Johnson (ankle) and Spencer Jones (shoulder) are out for Monday's matchup with the Jazz.
Analysis: Denver will be shorthanded yet again, and the absences of Johnson and Jones should free up additional minutes for Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown.
Peyton Watson
Watson (hamstring) to be evaluated this week
Sun, Mar 1, 2026, 3:57 PM
Brett Siegel
Peyton Watson (hamstring) will be re-evaluated this week.
Analysis: The Nuggets have been down two rotation players, Watson and Aaron Gordon, over the past month due to hamstring strains. Watson was injured during a February 4 loss to the Knicks and given a re-evaluation timeline of four weeks. According to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, the hope is that Watson will be able to return within 7-10 days. Given how well he played before the injury, Watson may start once he's no longer restricted, given Cameron Johnson's struggles in his first season with the team.

Aaron Gordon (hamstring) will be re-evaluated this week.
Analysis: Gordon aggravated his strained right hamstring during Denver's January 23 win over the Bucks, and he was given a re-evaluation timeline of four to six weeks. According to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, there's hope that Gordon will be able to return to game action within the next seven to ten days. Once he's able to play without restrictions, Gordon will likely bump Julian Strawther from the starting lineup, but that won't happen during Denver's three-game Week 19.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (ankle) exits early vs. Minnesota
Sun, Mar 1, 2026, 12:52 PM
Denver Nuggets
Cameron Johnson (ankle) finished Sunday's loss to the Timberwolves with zero points (0-of-6 FGs), four rebounds and three assists.
Analysis: Johnson, who was dealing with right ankle inflammation before Sunday's game, logged 23 ineffective minutes before exiting during the third quarter and not returning. The veteran forward has struggled recently, and that was before the ankle became an issue. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown are likely to pick up additional minutes if Johnson has to miss time. Denver visits the Jazz on Monday, the first of three games they'll play in Week 19.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? has 35/13/9 line in loss to T-Wolves
Sun, Mar 1, 2026, 12:20 PM
Nikola Joki? had 35 points (15-of-26 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 13 rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Joki? continues his absolute dominance on the court despite the loss to the Timberwolves. The 31-year-old center had at least 30 points for the fourth time in his last five games while also recording at least 12 rebounds for the fifth time in his last six games. Joki? is the top player in per game value this season, according to Basketball Monster. The Nuggets have three games in the upcoming week, starting with a matchup against the Jazz on Monday.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (ankle) upgraded to available
Sun, Mar 1, 2026, 8:40 AM
Denver Nuggets
Cameron Johnson (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Johnson was initially probable for Sunday's game, so the expectation was that he would be available. He'll occupy his usual spot in the starting lineup, with the Nuggets hoping to get more production from the forward than they did in Friday's loss to the Thunder.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (ankle) probable vs. Minnesota
Sat, Feb 28, 2026, 1:12 PM
NBA Injury Report
Cameron Johnson (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Johnson, who struggled in Friday's loss to the Thunder, is dealing with right ankle inflammation. His potential absence would not have a significant effect on fantasy basketball, but it would push Bruce Brown or Tim Hardaway Jr. into the starting lineup.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun finishes OT loss with 23 points
Fri, Feb 27, 2026, 6:54 PM
Christian Braun posted 23 points (8-of-18 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Friday's loss to the Thunder.
Analysis: Between injuries and lackluster production when available, this season has been a letdown for those who selected Braun in drafts. However, he had a good night against the Thunder, shooting 5-of-8 from inside the arc. The 23 points represent a new season-high for Braun, who recorded his fourth 20-point game. He's still rostered in 72 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which is more about Braun's status as a starter than his production. Hopefully, Friday's performance serves as a catalyst for the Nuggets' guard.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? records 23/17/14 stat line vs. OKC
Fri, Feb 27, 2026, 6:53 PM
Nikola Joki? accounted for 23 points (9-of-25 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 17 rebounds, 14 assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Friday's loss to the Thunder.
Analysis: Joki? finished Friday's overtime defeat with his third double-double in six games and 22nd of the season. He didn't have the best night shooting the basketball, making two of his ten three-point attempts, but fantasy managers will live with that thanks to The Joker's points, rebounds and assists. Joki? and the Nuggets have one more game in Week 18, as they host the Timberwolves on Sunday.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray goes for game-high 39 points
Fri, Feb 27, 2026, 6:53 PM
Jamal Murray tallied 39 points (12-of-26 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and seven three-pointers in Friday's loss to the Thunder.
Analysis: Back in the lineup after an illness forced his early exit from Wednesday's win over the Celtics, Murray still didn't look his best physically on Friday. However, he still put up 39 points, the most in a game for the Nuggets' guard since he hit that number in a February 4 loss to the Knicks. And the schedule won't get any easier, as Sunday's game against the Timberwolves is the first of two in as many games for Murray and the Nuggets.
Julian Strawther
Julian Strawther (toe) upgraded to available
Fri, Feb 27, 2026, 2:48 PM
Katy Winge
Julian Strawther (toe) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Strawther is set to play after initially being listed as probable. Due to injuries, he has recently started alongside Jamal Murray, and his production has been solid enough to make Strawther a streaming option in deep leagues.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (illness) upgraded to available
Fri, Feb 27, 2026, 2:46 PM
Katy Winge
Jamal Murray (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Limited to a handful of minutes in Wednesday's win over the Celtics due to illness, Murray is good to go for Friday night. He'll take on his usual role as the Nuggets' starting point guard.
Julian Strawther
Julian Strawther (toe) probable vs. Oklahoma City
Thu, Feb 26, 2026, 11:54 AM
NBA Injury Report
Julian Strawther (toe) is probable for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Strawther was also probable ahead of Wednesday's win over the Celtics, a game that he started and logged 26 minutes. He should take on a similar workload against the Thunder, but there may be a few more touches available if Jamal Murray (illness) can't go.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (illness) questionable vs. OKC
Thu, Feb 26, 2026, 11:53 AM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (illness) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Friday.
Analysis: Murray exited just a few minutes into Wednesday's game due to this illness and could remain sidelined for another game. Jalen Pickett (knee) is also questionable, though he typically starts at point guard when Murray is out. KJ Simpson played 14 minutes off the bench in their last game and could get the nod if both Murray and Pickett are sidelined.
