Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook has 11/7/9 line in win vs. 76ers
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 6:32 PM
Russell Westbrook had 11 points (4-of-5 FGs), seven rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one 3-pointer against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Analysis: Westbrook started and played just 25 minutes, but was still only three rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double in the victory. The 36-year-old point guard continues to start and see more minutes with the Nuggets bringing Aaron Gordon back slowly from a calf injury. Still, it's impressive that Westbrook can flirt with a triple-double even when teammate Nikola Jokic is getting a triple-double every night. Westbrook can still put up solid production, but has an even higher ceiling when the Nuggets are missing a starter.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun has 20 points on 11 shots in win
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 6:27 PM
Christian Braun had 20 points (8-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, two assists and one steal against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Analysis: Braun now has at least 20 points in three of his last four games. He was efficient making 8-of-11 field goal attempts without attempting a 3-pointer. The 23-year-old shooting guard played 25 minutes. He also got to the foul line five times and made four free throws. Braun has been scoring while he continues to start and play more minutes ahead of Aaron Gordon, though it's unclear how much longer that will last.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic has 4th straight triple-double in win
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 6:23 PM
Nikola Jokic had 27 points (10-of-15 FGs), 13 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals, one block and two 3-pointers in the Nuggets' 144-109 victory over the 76ers on Tuesday.
Analysis: The triple-double was Jokic's fourth in a row and fifth in his last six games. The 29-year-old center added four steals and a block to his stat line on the defensive end as well. The Joker is still the top overall player in fantasy. The Nuggets are back on the court Thursday against the Kings.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson (head) available vs. Philadelphia
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 3:04 PM
Denver Nuggets
Peyton Watson (head contusion) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Watson was initially listed as probable, so his availability doesn't come as a surprise. He'll fill out his typical role off the bench, though his fantasy production will be limited with Aaron Gordon healthy.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (calf) available Tuesday vs. 76ers
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 3:02 PM
Jamal Murray (left calf tightness) is available for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: No surprise here as Murray was listed as probable with a calf injury. The 27-year-old point guard is good to go for the matchup against Philadelphia and should be able to continue playing through the injury as the Nuggets won't play back-to-back games until January 31.

NBA Injury Report
Peyton Watson (head contusion) is probable to play against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Analysis: Watson exited early from Sunday's game against the Magic after hitting his head on the court during the first half. However, that isn't expected to keep him out of the lineup against Philadelphia. Watson should continue to play a role off the bench, though it will be limited with Aaron Gordon back.

Jamal Murray (calf) probable vs. 76ers Tuesday
Mon, Jan 20, 2025, 12:53 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (left calf tightness) is probable to play against Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Analysis: Murray is managing a calf issue, but it isn't expected to keep him out of the lineup. They don't have a back-to-back until January 31st, so this shouldn't be a concern, as long as it doesn't get worse. If something changes, Russell Westbrook would likely shift over to point guard, with Aaron Gordon making a return to the starting lineup.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray has 19 points on 16 shots in win
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 2:35 PM
Jamal Murray had 19 points (8-of-16 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer against the Magic.
Analysis: Murray had at least 20 points in his last three games, but saw that streak end against the Magic Sunday. The 27-year-old point guard had 19 points on 16 shots including a 1-of-6 performance from behind the 3-point line. On the season, Murray has provided top-40 fantasy value, exceeding his Yahoo ADP of 54.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun has double-double in win vs. Magic
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 2:34 PM
Christian Braun had 20 points (6-of-10 FGs), 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer against the Magic on Sunday.
Analysis: Braun somewhat quietly has at least 20 points in two of his last three games. On Sunday, he was 6-of-10 from the floor and had no problem getting to the free throw and making all seven of his attempts. With Aaron Gordon still playing around 20 minutes off the bench, Braun has some value given that he's starting and playing at least 30 minutes lately.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic has 20-point triple-double in win
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 2:30 PM
Nikola Jokic had 20 points (7-of-9 FGs), 14 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and three blocks in the Nuggets' 113-100 victory over the Magic on Sunday.
Analysis: Jokic now has back-to-back triple-doubles since returning from a one-game absence with an elbow injury. The 29-year-old center is still the top ranked player in all of fantasy. The Nuggets have three games next week, starting with the 76ers on Tuesday.

Vinny Benedetto
Peyton Watson (head contusion) did not return for the second half of Sunday's win over Orlando.
Analysis: Watson hit the back of his head on the court during the second quarter of Sunday's game. While the Nuggets announced that he was questionable to return, the third-year forward did not play again. If Watson has to miss time, Julian Strawther should play more minutes off the bench. On Tuesday, Denver begins a three-game Week 13 slate at home against the 76ers.

Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 1:13 PM
Denver Nuggets
Peyton Watson (head contusion) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Watson fell hard and hit his head on the court during the second quarter of Sunday's game. While he did walk back to the locker room under his own power, the Nuggets forward did so while holding the back of his head. If Watson cannot return, fellow reserve Julian Strawther should play more minutes off the bench.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon available Sunday night
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 11:18 AM
Denver Nuggets
Nikola Jokic (right elbow inflammation) and Aaron Gordon (right calf injury management) are available for Sunday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Jokic and Gordon were probable on the initial injury report, so this was the expected outcome for both players. The former, who played Friday's win over the Heat with a shooting sleeve on his right arm, will remain in his usual starting center role. As for Gordon, he's come off the bench in his first few games back from his second calf strain of the season, and that should remain the case for a while longer. Russell Westbrook has played well as Gordon's replacement in the starting lineup.

Sat, Jan 18, 2025, 11:39 AM
NBA Injury Report
Nikola Jokic (right elbow inflammation) and Aaron Gordon (right calf injury management) are probable for Sunday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Jokic and Gordon played in Friday's win over the Heat, with the latter coming off the bench again. They should occupy the same roles on Sunday, with Russell Westbrook remaining a starter until Gordon is cleared of any restrictions to his playing time.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon tallies 16 points, six rebounds
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 5:03 PM
Aaron Gordon finished Friday's win over the Heat with 16 points (5-of-8 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes.
Analysis: After sitting out Wednesday's loss to the Rockets for injury management reasons, Gordon was back in the Nuggets rotation on Friday. He was again used in a reserve role, and the Nuggets appear to be making a concerted effort to keep Gordon's minutes down as he works his way back. After the first calf strain suffered earlier this season, Gordon was back playing starters' minutes after two games. Of course, Russell Westbrook's solid play has likely helped Denver stay patient. Westbrook played 26 minutes on Friday, finishing with 11 points (4-of-7 FGs), seven assists, and three 3-pointers.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray scores game-high 30 points vs. Miami
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 5:02 PM
Jamal Murray shot 12-of-24 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Friday's 133-113 win over the Heat, accumulating 30 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one block, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
Analysis: Criticized recently for his subpar production, Murray has caught fire during Week 12. He's scored 97 points in Denver's last three games and has been a top-30 player over the past week in 9-cat formats. And while Murray has been subject to some criticism in “real” basketball circles, his fantasy value has been acceptable this season. The Nuggets guard is providing top-40 value in 8- and 9-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo ADP (54). Murray will look to end Week 12 on a high note when the Nuggets visit Orlando on Sunday.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic (elbow) posts 24/12/10/1 stat line
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 5:02 PM
Nikola Jokic (right elbow inflammation) logged 31 minutes in Friday's 133-113 win over Miami, accounting for 24 points (9-of-12 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer.
Analysis: Back in the Nuggets lineup after a one-game absence, Jokic showed no ill effects from the elbow injury he suffered on Wednesday. Playing with a shooting sleeve on his arm, the three-time MVP shot 75% from the field and recorded his third triple-double in four games. Jokic remains the top-ranked player in fantasy basketball in 8- and 9-cat formats, with Victor Wembanyama and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander next in line. Denver ends its Week 12 slate in Orlando on Sunday.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (knee) available Friday vs. Miami
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 1:14 PM
Denver Nuggets
Jamal Murray (left knee inflammation) is available for Friday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: Initially probable for Friday's game, Murray has been given the all-clear to play. He'll occupy his usual place in the starting lineup, with Russell Westbrook, Christian Braun, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic completing the quintet.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic (elbow) available Friday vs. Heat
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 1:13 PM
Nikola Jokic (right elbow inflammation) is available for Friday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: Jokic missed Wednesday's game after injuring his elbow in warmups. He was listed as questionable Friday, but will ultimately start against the Heat. The Joker's return will send DeAndre Jordan back to the bench, taking him and Dario Saric off the streaming radar.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon (injury management) available Friday
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 12:44 PM
Aaron Gordon (right calf injury management) is available for Friday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: Nuggets head coach Michael Malone told reporters that Gordon will play and come off the bench Friday. The 29-year-old power forward sat out the second game of a back-to-back Wednesday. Gordon's availability cuts into Peyton Watson's minutes off the bench.
