Jamal Murray
Murray drops 30 points in win over Chicago
Tue, Oct 14, 2025, 5:52 PM
Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 30 points (9-of-18 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), two rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in a 124-117 win over the Bulls on Tuesday.
Analysis: Murray was certainly in mid-season form in this win. After scoring a total of 36 points through their first three preseason games, he nearly matched that total against Chicago. Murray is being drafted in the fourth round in Yahoo! leagues, and he'll be worth the selection if he is able to stay healthy, like he did last season.
Nikola Jokic
Jokic tallies 18/8/8 line in preseason victory
Tue, Oct 14, 2025, 5:39 PM
Nikola Jokic poured in 18 points (7-of-10 FGs), eight rebounds, eight assists and one steal against the Bulls on Tuesday
Analysis: Jokic has been able to consistently stuff the stat sheet during the preseason, which should come as a no surprise. He should compete for the top spot in fantasy basketball once again this season and have a chance to add another MVP to his trophy case.

Nikola Jokic fills stat sheet in win over Clippers
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 6:35 PM
Nikola Jokic provided 12 points, nine rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block across 22 minutes in Sunday's 102-94 win over the Clippers.
Analysis: Joker did what he usually does and posted useful numbers across the stat sheet. Expect more of the same from the three-time MVP, who is fresh off a season in which he became the first center to ever average a triple-double.
Russell Westbrook
Shams: Kings, Westbrook remain mutually interested
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 8:00 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that there remains “strong mutual interest” between the Kings and free agent point guard Russell Westbrook.
Analysis: Throughout the offseason, there were reports of a potential partnership between the Kings and Westbrook, who has been a free agent since opting out of the final year of his deal with the Nuggets. It was also reported that, with the signing of Dennis Schröder, the Kings would need to move a guard to make room for Westbrook. Malik Monk and Devin Carter, whose names were mentioned in trade rumors to make that happen, remain on the Kings' roster. Would that remain the case if the team were to sign Westbrook now? Or will the most recent rumblings be a way to drum up interest in either of those players? Westbrook hasn't been a consistently impactful fantasy option in recent years, so he is not a player managers should look to draft and stash in anticipation of a potential move to Sacramento.

Nikola Joki? posts 17/6/5/1 line vs. Toronto
Mon, Oct 6, 2025, 6:55 PM
Nikola Joki? accounted for 17 points (5-of-5 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in Monday's win over the Raptors.
Analysis: While he did shoot the ball well on Monday, Joki? was uncharacteristically sloppy regarding “ball control.” He committed six turnovers on the night, a number he met or exceeded eight times last season. Given how productive the three-time MVP is, fantasy managers have little to worry about regarding Joki?. Of the eight games in which he recorded six turnovers in 2024-25, the Joker was responsible for five double-doubles and three triple-doubles. More concerning for Nuggets head coach David Adelman was that his team combined to commit 31 turnovers on Monday; Joki? will be fine.

Jamal Murray tallies 17 points, three triples
Mon, Oct 6, 2025, 6:54 PM
Jamal Murray accumulated 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in Monday's win over the Raptors.
Analysis: After none of the Nuggets starters played more than 19 minutes in Saturday's preseason opener, with Murray logging 16, the first five began the third quarter of Monday's victory on the court. Murray looked reasonably sharp against the Raptors, shooting 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. His fantasy value last season took a hit due to a slow start, but the Nuggets point guard shot the ball better after the All-Star break. The combination of Denver's improved depth and the exit of Michael Porter Jr. may raise Murray's fantasy ceiling, even if his role won't change much.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun doesn't miss, scores 19 points
Mon, Oct 6, 2025, 6:54 PM
Christian Braun shot 8-of-8 from the field in Monday's win over the Raptors, scoring 19 points with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers.
Analysis: After only attempting two shots from the field in Denver's preseason opener on Saturday, Braun was far more active offensively in Vancouver. And he didn't miss, making all eight of his shot attempts in the 112-108 victory. Braun was close to a top-50 player in nine-cat formats in his first season as a starter, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP by a significant margin. He's undoubtedly capable of duplicating that production, but the Nuggets are deeper than they were a season ago. Fantasy managers will want to begin considering Braun in the latter stages of the sixth round in 12-team category leagues.
Cameron Johnson
Johnson scores two points in Nuggets debut
Sat, Oct 4, 2025, 5:28 PM
Cameron Johnson made his Nuggets debut on Saturday and contributed just two points (1-of-3 FGs), one assist and one block in 15 minutes in a 126-116 loss to the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Johnson was dealt to Denver as part of a trade that sent Michael Porter Jr. to Brooklyn this summer. His first action with his new team, albeit just the preseason, wasn't exactly a performance to write home about. However, Johnson should fit in flawlessly with this squad that is looking to get back to the championship after being eliminated in the conference semifinals last season.
Moses Brown
Report: DEN signs Moses Brown to Exhibit 10 deal
Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 5:21 AM
Michael Scotto
HoopsHype's Michael Scotto reports the Nuggets signed Moses Brown to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Analysis: Brown, who has been well-traveled within the NBA since going undrafted in 2019, will go into training camp with the Nuggets. Between Indiana and Dallas, the 7-foot-2 center appeared in 13 NBA games in 2024-25, averaging 5.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 9.2 minutes. Brown hit double figures in his last two games with the Mavericks, including a 20-point, 11-rebound, three-steal, two-block effort against the Hornets on February 27. Denver's G League affiliate recently acquired Brown's returning player rights as part of a three-team trade.
Jonas Valanciunas
Jonas Valanciunas double-doubles in loss to Greece
Tue, Sep 9, 2025, 10:18 AM
Jonas Valanciunas finished Tuesday's 87-76 loss to Greece with 24 points, 15 rebounds and an assist across 31 minutes.
Analysis: JV was Lithuania's top scorer and rebounder yet again, and he wraps up Eurobasket 2025 play with averages of 15.7 points and 6.7 rebounds across seven appearances. He'll operate as one of the NBA's best backup centers behind Nikola Jokic in Denver for the 2025-26 season.
Nikola Jokic
Jokic pours in 33 points in elimination loss
Sat, Sep 6, 2025, 11:08 AM
Nikola Jokic led Serbia with 33 points (9-of-13 FGs, 14-of-19 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and one free throw in a 92-86 loss to Finland on Saturday.
Analysis: It was another monster performance from Jokic, who has carried the load for Serbia throughout EuroBasket. However, it wasn't enough for them to secure the win over Lauri Markkanen (29 points) and Finland. Serbia's run ends in the Round of 16, which means Jokic will have some time to recover ahead of the regular season. That is a good thing, since managers will certainly be investing at least a top-two pick on him in every league.

Nikola Joki? records 22/9/4/3/1 line vs. Türkiye
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 10:31 AM
Nikola Joki? accumulated 22 points (10-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, four assists, three steals, one block and two three-pointers in Wednesday's loss to Türkiye.
Analysis: Joki? and Alperen ?engün were locked in an epic individual battle as Serbia and Türkiye competed for the top spot in Group A at EuroBasket. The latter picked up the victory and the top spot, but Joki? still came through with a solid overall performance. With the Round of 16 on the horizon, the lifting stands to get heavier for The Joker, as Serbia is without Bogdan Bogdanovi? for the remainder of the tournament with a hamstring injury. While Serbia has enough help for its star center to win the event, the task is more challenging with Bogdanovi? sidelined.
Jonas Valanciunas
Valan?i?nas records 18/9/2/2/2 line vs. Sweden
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 5:34 AM
Jonas Valan?i?nas accounted for 18 points (7-of-11 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocked shots in Wednesday's win over Sweden.
Analysis: Having already qualified for the Round of 16 at EuroBasket, Lithuania ended group play with a 4-1 record following Wednesday's victory. Valan?i?nas finished the 74-71 victory one rebound shy of a double-double, showing the attributes that made the Nuggets so willing to acquire him from Sacramento to serve as Nikola Joki?'s backup next season. While that role limits Valan?i?nas' fantasy value, it gives him a far better chance of winning his first NBA title than he would have had with the Kings.
Nikola Jokic
Jokic dominates Latvia with 39 points in victory
Sat, Aug 30, 2025, 7:18 AM
Nikola Jokic dominated Latvia on Saturday with 39 points (15-of-26 FGs), 10 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer in an 84-80 victory.
Analysis: Jokic is typically only this aggressive offensively when he needs to be, and with this matchup being the closest of EuroBasket so far for Serbia, it isn't surprising that he was unstoppable, especially with his teammates not providing much help. Serbia moves to 3-0 in the tournament, and they'll go as far as Jokic takes them. More performances like this will make them difficult to beat.
Jonas Valanciunas
Jonas Valanciunas scores 14 points in loss
Sat, Aug 30, 2025, 6:07 AM
Jonas Valanciunas finished with 14 points (5-of-8 FGs), four rebounds and one block in a 107-88 loss to Germany on Saturday.
Analysis: Valanciunas has been one of the primary scoring options for Lithuania through their first three games of EuroBasket, but this was the first loss for them after they dominated Great Britain and Montenegro. Valanciunas will continue to play an important role for them moving forward, with their next game coming against Finland on Monday.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic double-doubles in win over Portugal
Fri, Aug 29, 2025, 10:28 AM
Nikola Jokic finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, a triple, two steals and two blocked shots across 23 minutes in Friday's 80-69 win over Portugal.
Analysis: Jokic led all scorers and rebounders in Serbia's double-digit win, and he posted a second straight double-double. Expect Joker to continue pacing his team in a number of categories throughout Eurobasket 2025 play.
Jonas Valanciunas
Jonas Valanciunas scores 19 points in 13 minutes
Fri, Aug 29, 2025, 8:39 AM
Jonas Valanciunas finished Friday's blowout win over Montenegro with 19 points, five rebounds, an assist, three triples and a block across 13 minutes.
Analysis: Lithuania dominated Montenegro 94-67, so JV didn't log big minutes, but he was able to make a huge impact in limited court time. Valanciunas' 19 points led his team, and he surprisingly cashed three triples along the way. Expect him to continue operating as Lithuania's leading scorer with bigger offensive performances in store for more competitive matchups.
Nikola Jokic
Jokic tallies 11/10/7 line in blowout win
Wed, Aug 27, 2025, 10:48 AM
Nikola Jokic recorded a double-double on Wednesday with 11 points (3-of-4 FGs), 10 rebounds and seven assists in a 98-64 win over Estonia.
Analysis: In typical Jokic fashion, he only took four shots during his 23 minutes because of how lopsided the score was; he isn't one to force shots when he doesn't need to. Jokic will continue to be the star of the show throughout EuroBasket, which should lead to better performances in the box score, assuming Serbia's future games are closer.
Jonas Valanciunas
Valanciunas scores game-high 18 points vs. Britain
Wed, Aug 27, 2025, 3:10 AM
Jonas Valanciunas finished with 18 points (7-of-13 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist and one block in a 94-70 win over Great Britain on Wednesday.
Analysis: Lithuania kicked off Eurobasket with a convincing win over Great Britain, and Valanciunas, the lone NBA player on either roster, was the leading scorer and rebounder in this game. He'll continue to be a focal point for Lithuania throughout the tournament before heading to Denver to play behind Nikola Jokic next season.
Russell Westbrook
Stein: Kings maintain interest in adding Westbrook
Mon, Aug 25, 2025, 5:05 AM
Marc Stein
NBA insider Marc Stein reports the Kings still have interest in signing free agent guard Russell Westbrook.
Analysis: Since Westbrook hit free agency, the parties have been mutually interested in a partnership. However, Sacramento does need to open up a roster spot before making a move for the veteran point guard. While Malik Monk's name has been mentioned in trade rumors, Stein reported Sunday that the Kings are looking into ways to open up a spot on the perimeter without moving him. While Sacramento did add Dennis Schröder via sign-and-trade, another proven point guard still needs to be added to the roster. Devin Carter's name may be one to watch between now and the beginning of training camp as the Kings look to strengthen their roster.
